The Deepsleep Narcotics Co. is commited to your total music experience. Our engineers, physicists, poets and photographers work squirreled away in backrooms combining the danceable with the headphone astral plain. On stage this music comes through the People’s Jay’s drums and computers, Aydin’s Bass, Samurai Linconln’s Serato turntable, and Lena’s sultry alto. Lynn’s projected artwork lets the audiences see what she hears, taking everyone on a journey of discovery.
The DNC headquarters are in Seattle Washington, and have been since aught four. Our love of downbeat and trip-hop shows in our music, as does our love of Latin and funk and rock. Our shows appeal to anyone looking to fall in love or cure cancer. DNC music is on the forefront of tech and at the same time totally accessible to the first timer. Our shows appeal to hipster mothers and fathers with their children asleep at home with the babysitter studying for her robotics midterm. Our music is good to wander into after a bad day at work and maybe have a beer or two and watch and relax. Our shows are for the returning audience; they see the evolution of the songs, the sets, and the band. We’re all in it together. We make this music for ourselves to enjoy first. Then the world.
